Student Academic Support
& Classroom Tutoring
Helping Every Student Succeed in Their CDL Training Journey
At Milwaukee CDL Institute, operated by Badger CDL LLC, we believe that successful commercial driver training requires more than classroom instruction and time behind the wheel. Students need access to knowledgeable instructors, educational resources, individualized guidance, and ongoing academic support throughout their training.
Our school provides in-person academic assistance, classroom tutoring, CDL permit preparation, instructional videos, practical skills coaching, and additional learning support to help students build the knowledge and confidence necessary to pursue their Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Whether students are beginning their CDL education or preparing for their final skills examination, our instructional team is committed to helping them understand the material and develop safe, professional driving skills.

2. Individualized Student Learning Assistance
Not every student learns at the same pace. Milwaukee CDL Institute emphasizes providing students with opportunities to ask questions, receive feedback, and improve their understanding of CDL training requirements.
Our instructional support focuses on identifying areas where students need additional assistance and providing guidance to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills.
Students may request assistance from instructors during their scheduled training sessions or communicate with school staff regarding additional learning needs.
3. CDL Permit & Written Examination Preparation
Students preparing for their Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) receive educational guidance covering the subjects required for their respective CDL classifications.
Instructional topics include:
-
General CDL knowledge
-
Commercial vehicle safety procedures
-
Air brake systems
-
Combination vehicles
-
Applicable endorsements
-
Wisconsin CDL requirements
Our goal is to help students understand the material rather than simply memorize examination answers.
4. Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Academic Support
Vehicle inspection is an important part of commercial driver training. Our students receive instructor-led explanations, demonstrations, and educational resources designed to help them understand vehicle components, inspection procedures, and safety requirements.
Students have access to instructional videos that supplement their hands-on training.
